MSB Group Mechanical & Electrical LTD are an experienced and professional team of mechanical and electrical engineers. We specialise in all aspects of electrical and mechanical applications including gas appliance repair, install and maintenance for large commercial operators. We are based in Helston, Cornwall and our team of industry experts are able to operate anywhere in the UK. We are often found offshore overseas for one of our major Japanese clients, Fugro. Our professional and extensive services are also available for domestic customers.
Support Team
We have over 30 engineers out in the field being supported by a highly professional management and administration team back at our head office.
Matty has over 17 years of experience in industrial, commercial, and domestic plumbing and heating systems. He has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout his journey. He has had the best role model and mentor in his dad along the way, which has made him into the ambitious and dedicated Managing director that he is today. He is extremely driven and is keen to provide the most professional and satisfying service possible, always happy to help and go the extra mile. A keen cyclist, Matty gets in the miles where he can.
With over 17 years of experience in everything electrical Ben has lots of experience in his field. Having travelled offshore to get stuck into big electrical projects he brings a vast variety of insight and creativity to the business. His expertise includes delivering complex mechanical and electrical engineering solutions and guiding his team to fulfil all projects to the highest level. Ben enjoys football, golf, and the odd singalong on karaoke.
Darren has 17 years of experience working on the MOD FM maintenance contracts and brings an infinite wisdom to the business. He works closely with the team on the bigger projects within the company and strengthens the dynamic, enabling us to deliver the best service. Working his way up the ladder Darren started as mechanical engineer and has developed a wide range of skills, from being on the tools on site, to managing big contracts alongside Matty and Ben. An avid golfer and Leeds fan, Darren enjoys playing golf in his spare time and has a special love for Greggs!
Kirsty brings 14 years of customer service experience to the business, having worked in the holiday and hospitality industry for most of her career, she has acquired great communication and organisational skills. Building strong customer relationships and maintaining the best level of customer service is paramount. Kirsty is responsible for looking after the service engineers and keeping their diaries full of jobs, as well as providing support in the everyday running of the office. She enjoys trips to the beach and paddleboarding when the Cornish weather is good to us!
Since joining the MSB family, Max has played a key part in making sure we stay on top. He has 12 years of accounting experience and has brought a wide range of knowledge and experience to the business. He is very precise and focused at his job, as well as keeping a very professional attitude at all times, he takes his job very seriously. Max is an Arsenal supporter and likes to watch them in his spare time. He also provides the office with the odd catchphrase: “aaahhh the wonderer returns”.
James brings 14 years of Account Management, business improvement and Customer Service experience to the company and will be supporting Max.
With over 15 years of experience in customer service, Jess has acquired knowledge from NHS and MOD contracts. She brings a very organised and friendly attitude to the office. Making sure all training for the engineers is up to date and keeping them all kitted out in their uniform, she runs a very tight ship. Providing great help and support for our customers, you might be lucky enough to catch her on the phone. When not at work Jess loves spending time with her children and keeping them entertained with their hobbies and interests.
Shelly is the newest member to the office team and has taken to it like a duck to water. Providing great customer assistance and support, she stays on top of appointments and making sure all our customers are booked in. Building customer relationships and keeping on top of enquiries Shelly has a very efficient and proactive approach. In her spare time Shelly loves to spend time with her family, while also watching Leeds.
